Our
Accompanist

We continue to be very pleased that we have Pat Kelley-Chatham as our
accompanist. She has a wonderful sense of humor which is a great asset
when working with all of us.
Pat grew up in a home that encouraged her to pursue her interest in
music. She began taking piano lessons at the age of six, and added playing
the oboe and alto saxophone during high school. At a young age, she
decided that she wanted to study music in college. She followed her
dream by acquiring a Bachelor of Music Education Degree, with a choral
major and keyboard minor, from Central Michigan University. After moving
from Michigan to California, Pat continued her musical involvement through
teaching piano and voice lessons, and directing church choirs in music
ministry for over 20 years.
Pat began her accompanist experience while in college. She performed
in the orchestras for Music Man and Oklahoma! through
the Birdcage Theatre in Oroville. Currently, Pat plays mallet percussion
in the Paradise Community Band, accompanies local church choirs and
leads worship, sings with the North Valley Chamber Chorale, and she
teaches piano and voice lessons. She is a substitute teacher with the
Paradise Unified School District and is the accompanist for the PUSD
choirs. Pat and her daughter have lived in Paradise since 1999.
